Renaming WordPress Dashboard Menu Items

Not too long ago, I wanted to find out how to rename my dashboard menu items so that it would be easier navigate my WordPress dashboard.  So I checked google and found this simple solution, just copy paste this into your functions.php file and Dashboard/Posts with the item you wish to rename and Home/Articles with what you want to rename it to.

The PHP

function menu_item_text( $menu ) {
     $menu = str_ireplace( 'Dashboard', 'Home', $menu );
     $menu = str_ireplace( 'Posts', 'Articles', $menu );
     return $menu;
}
add_filter('gettext', 'menu_item_text');
add_filter('ngettext', 'menu_item_text');

What Are The Names Of The Other Menu Items?

Below is a listing of each of your menu items just add it to the php function above with the name change and you should be good to go.

$menu = str_ireplace( 'Media', 'Your Text',  $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Library', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Links', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Pages', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Comments', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Appearance', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Plugins', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Users', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Tools', 'Your Text', $menu );
$menu = str_ireplace( 'Settings', 'Your Text', $menu );
